Hi, my name is Fernando Fath, I’m a photographer from Germany. I discovered my passion for photography very early. I spent a few years in training as a photographer, and after my training and successfully completing my diploma in communication design, I started working as a freelancer.
Some time ago, I started focusing on sports, since I am interested in this topic, and in my opinion, it is best to deal with something you really like. I have spent a lot of time in smelly changing rooms or lying on the wet grass at the edge of sports fields taking pictures of athletes. However, I love to accompany the athletes or teams when they are training or playing and document it. Moreover, I also enjoy taking pictures in the studio or shoot the athletes on location, where I can create pictures that transmit my own specific message. In my opinion, photography is a lot about passion and in sports it is very similar. I am always inspired by the approach of these athletes, what they are willing to do in order to achieve their goals.
At the end, the most important thing for me is to create photographs that capture moments, transfer feelings, and tell stories, thus create a connection with the viewer.
